Insta Eco Villages: Leading the way in Sustainable Living

Insta Eco Villages: Leading the way in Sustainable Living

Blog

As we face the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, sustainable living has become a pressing need. Insta Eco Villages are at the forefront of this movement, showcasing innovative technologies that minimize their environmental impact while providing comfortable living spaces for their residents. In this blog post, we’ll explore some of the eco-friendly technologies used in these villages and why they are the best for the planet.

Rainwater Harvesting

One of the most popular eco-friendly technologies used in Insta Eco Villages is rainwater harvesting. This process involves collecting rainwater and storing it for later use. The collected water can be used for a variety of purposes, such as watering plants, flushing toilets, and even drinking. Rainwater harvesting is a sustainable alternative to using tap water because it reduces the demand on municipal water supplies. It also helps to conserve water, which is becoming an increasingly scarce resource in many parts of the world.

Solar Power

Solar power is another eco-friendly technology used in Insta Eco Villages. It involves harnessing energy from the sun and converting it into electricity. Solar panels are installed on roofs or in other areas that receive direct sunlight, and the energy produced can be used to power the homes in the village. This is a clean and renewable source of energy that is becoming increasingly popular as the cost of solar panels continues to decrease. By using solar power, Insta Eco Villages reduce their carbon footprint and their reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

Green Roofs

Green roofs are also commonly used in Insta Eco Villages. A green roof is a roof that is covered with vegetation, such as grass or plants. These roofs help to insulate buildings, keeping them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They also help to absorb rainwater, which reduces runoff and prevents erosion. In addition, green roofs provide habitats for wildlife, such as birds and insects, which contributes to the biodiversity of the village.

Eco-Friendly Architecture

In addition to these eco-friendly technologies, Insta Eco Villages are also designed with sustainable architecture in mind. The buildings are constructed using sustainable materials, such as timber and recycled materials, and they are designed to be energy-efficient. The use of natural lighting and ventilation reduces the need for artificial lighting and air conditioning, which reduces energy consumption and lowers carbon emissions. The buildings are also designed to be adaptable and modular, which means they can be easily expanded or modified to meet changing needs.

Community-Based Living

Insta Eco Villages also promote community-based living, which is essential for creating a sustainable future. By living in a community, residents can share resources and reduce their individual carbon footprints. For example, they can share cars, tools, and other equipment, which reduces the need for each resident to own their own. Community-based living also promotes a sense of belonging and social cohesion, which contributes to the well-being of the residents.

Insta Eco Villages are leading the way in sustainable living by adopting eco-friendly technologies and promoting community-based living. Rainwater harvesting, solar power, green roofs, sustainable architecture, and community-based living are just a few examples of the innovative technologies and practices used in these villages. By adopting these technologies and practices, these communities are setting an example for the rest of the world and helping to create a more sustainable future.

There is an old saying attributed to Abraham Lincoln, one of the most popular presidents in US history, that: “The best way to predict the future is to create it!”  And this is precisely the goal of our team at InstaBuilt. To create the future on the 15th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.

We are part of the Innovation Center and through the InstaBuilt Co-FUTURE Platform, we are enabling architects, contractors, real estate agencies, and development actors to redesign the future through interaction, co-construction, and co-development while focusing on three main objectives: to deliver on and make a reality living, working and learning in quality environments and sustainable communities in the future.

Through co-founding InstaBuilt Co-FUTURE has opened its doors for cooperation – inviting architects, engineers, and also other parties interested in certification, production, and assembly an opportunity to join partnerships.

With Co-Future InstaBuilt aims to pursue successful projects together with lead architects that deliver on important portfolios and are presenting and building their designs in Europe, Scandinavia, and the United States with the aim of building healthy and eco-friendly sustainable communities around the world.

Through co-construction, InstaBuilt aims to enable partners to utilize our “Alphabet” platform which includes the manual for building the houses and add-ons, the guidelines and protocols for the transportation procedures of modular homes, VAT and customs taxes, guidelines on laying the foundations, landscaping and the procedures for obtaining the relevant permits from local authorities. InstaBuilt enables prospective clients to do all these procedures through the easily accessible platform in InstaBuilt 1,2,3 and so much more. Meanwhile, the Innovative Center will work to ensure that the future of learning is brighter by bringing all relevant educational, professional, and certification institutions closer together.

In its pursuit of co-development InstaBuilt’s will work with real estate agencies and developers, through the Co-Creation Project where prospective partners provide the land and obtain relevant building permits and InstaBuilt does all the rest.

Looking for landowners

This offers a unique opportunity for landowners to become partners through the Co-Creation Project, where each landowner will be given a free model unit to erect on their property if they enter into an agreement project with InstaBuilt. With this opportunity, landowners can benefit from a long-term investment without any large investment of their own.

InstaBuilt builds modular, prefabricated, high-quality homes that are easily transported and assembled anywhere. InstaBuilt’s goal is to provide sustainable and affordable housing solutions for individuals and families. These houses are highly energy efficient and are produced with eco-friendly and certified materials. The cost-efficient advantages in energy saving and construction as well as the visible reduction of environmental impact during the construction process make the InstaBuilt models most affordable. Through the co-creation process, InstaBuilt offers several types of modular homes designed to provide comfort and healthier living.

23 years with BP Home

To enter partnership agreements with InstaBuilt, landowners must meet certain requirements and obtain the necessary permits before we can proceed to place a model unit on the assigned land. They should also send more information about their land, location, size of land, land category, and other relevant information.

One of InstaBuilt’s basic requirements is that partners who enter into an agreement have ample land to fit a minimum of 5 Aster Domo houses and a maximum of 50. It is also the responsibility of the landowners to obtain all relevant permits from the local authorities before an agreement is reached between them and the company to place a model unit on their property. This is an important step as it proves that all safety provisions have been attended to and the installation process of the units can proceed. A typical solution like AsterDomo can be delivered within 90 days while the assembly process takes only 3 hours – which is the fastest delivery method in the EU market.

For 23 years, BP HOME has built neighborhoods and local communities, and now with InstaBuilt, in the coming years and decades, it aims to build communities and neighborhoods in Europe, Scandinavia and the USA. These neighborhoods will be eco-friendly spaces and offer an abundance of bio environments and green spaces.

In pursuing this goal InstaBuilt also aims to create the “future of work” where professional careers evolve around the wood construction industry. This center will create industry-wide efforts with local suppliers, also connecting global partners, real estate developers, and the diaspora, to jointly build and develop a more meaningful future for a better life in a more nature-friendly environment.

Building Home in Just 3 Days

Blog

Imagine having a house built in just three days, with zero damage to the environment, and a sleek, modern design that takes advantage of the latest in eco-friendly construction techniques.

With the new and innovative technology of construction, we are able to assemble a modular home in just three days. This remarkable achievement has been made possible by a combination of Instabuilt digital technology, a qualified team, and a highly organized construction process monitored directly from the central offices.

The process during the assembly of the house in France is monitored carefully and in real-time by the Technical Director – Shpëtim Pllana, who supervises the work remotely using advanced technology. This project that we assembled is a house of 2 stories with 265 m2 which is easily transported with 3 trucks and leaves zero damage to the environment. The method of direct supervision from the central offices at the assembly site allows for closely observing the progress of the construction and interventions in real-time, ensuring that the assembly is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

One of the most impressive things about this project was the speed with which it was completed. Our idea with which we actually design and build modular houses consists of our so-called ASMEPPLUTA philosophy, which shows that we must analyze both during the design phase and during the production phase. At all the stages at a certain moment, we can intervene to avoid possible mistakes and to carry out correctly all the processes during the design.

Another benefit of the modular design was that it allowed for the home to be easily expanded or modified in the future. This means that homeowners can adapt to their changing needs and continue to enjoy the benefits of their eco-friendly homes for years to come.

In conclusion, this project was a great success and a testament to the potential of modular, zero-energy construction. For us, it was an incredible experience to see this eco-friendly dream come to life in just three days.

Instabuilt will develop other various projects in Germany, Switzerland, France, and Austria, and invite you to see all these processes in the future.

Before building a house, you should think about certain things like the house design, total time of construction process, durability, materials, and the energy efficiency of the house.

To make your decision easy we would like to give you a short comparison of traditional construction and Modular or Prefab construction

The image above is of a modular home. It looks very similar to a traditional house. One can hardly tell the difference by looking at this house, but the difference is the way this house is built compared to the traditionally built home. Following are certain facts that differentiate a modular home from a traditional one.

Construction time

Prefabs are partially or entirely constructed off-site buildings, which makes the first differentiation to traditional houses built on-site. Modular houses can be easily re-located, while traditional houses remain fixed in one location.

A traditional house usually takes several months to complete. This happens because of such steps you have to go through, building the cement and bricks for walls, pipes, and plumbing, and the other materials and processes that have to go step by step until it is fully finished.

Building houses through the prefabrication process reduces the time needed for any project. Among other things, weather plays a key role, in that traditional construction is faced with weather conditions such as rain, snow, thunderstorms, which can delay the process for months. On the other hand, a prefab building is mostly constructed indoors where the weather is not an issue a manufacturer will need to deal with.

Durability/ Long-life

Prefab or modular homes are built in a controlled facility – meaning strict quality control is often easier to ensure than when built on-site. Therefore, we can say that this is an advantage because every process is controlled and the house has to withstand the movements and the lifting by cranes onto the foundation. In addition, the builders must make sure that all the little details are intact and that there are no cracks during transportation, achieving this means it makes the house even more durable

Instabuilt builds long-life homes because we use renewable plantations and this significantly reduces the negative environmental effects that can arise during the construction and lifecycle of our buildings. The houses are also constructed to withstand any climate condition, including mountains, deserts, seaside’s, alpines, or any other locations.

Materials

Prefab modular homes are usually built from recyclable and renewable materials like timber, wood, and other eco-solutions, compared to traditional homes that are built from bricks, sand, polyester, and other harmful materials to the environment.

Instabuilt uses construction elements that are suited for a variety of projects. Well-known eco-green and biomaterials with internationally recognized certifications of performance like CE and ETA. We can build anything we can dream of, without making any damage to the environment.

When deciding whether to build a Prefab or a Tradition house keep in mind the future of the planet you will be living on, and the answer will be clear.

Energy Efficiency

Building a prefab home lowers the carbon footprint on the atmosphere. Energy efficiency is the key to sustainable building and a primary factor in making a home more environmentally friendly. By building traditional construction, using additional materials can often give rise to extra waste. Though prefabs are manufactured partly in a factory, any extra materials can be recycled in-house. Comparing this to a traditional house we can say that modular buildings reduce waste, energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions, and even lower your energy costs.

So, you should consider investing in prefabricated houses and get to enjoy all benefits for years to come! Here is a short video presentation of Parta’s house instantly built.

Zero Energy Homes

Blog

A house is more than four walls and a roof, it is a place of comfort and security, a gathering place for friends, and a haven for your family. Imagine you live in a home that is so well insulated, and energy-efficient that it produces as much renewable energy as it consumes, leaving you after a year of living there with a net-zero energy bill, and a carbon-free home. Yes, they exist, the zero energy homes and they are our Flying Homes.

Build to a high standard, absorbing the cleanest air, maintaining a balanced indoor temperature, it will provide for a quiet and sound sleep. What more can you ask for from a low-maintenance, healthy environment to live in the home? And yes, there is more… Because the construction is airtight and grid tight, it keeps its air fresh, filters it with its ventilation system that in addition to zero energy bills accumulates way less dust making cleaning the easiest of duties.

Zero-energy homes suit any lifestyle: those of lone occupiers, couples, young, middle-aged families, older couples… Why, because it becomes irrelevant if you are living in a warm and humid climate or rather colder regions. And yet, they can look like any home you want, old-style, modern, futuristic… Each can have its own unique style. Built with significant energy-saving features like insulation, high-efficiency windows, passive solar gain in winter and passive shading in summer, and many more other features depending on the climate of the area or the wishes or your wishes, and what is more important not affected by the surge in electricity prices.

This price will be zero or close to zero!

Moreover, compared to traditional homes the Zero-energy homes are safer, stronger, have thicker walls, fresh filtered air, and are built with advanced window technologies. Zero-energy homes prevent indoor air and moisture pollutants due to their robust, balanced fresh air ventilation, Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV), and Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) systems exhausting the “bad” poor air, filtering out the fresh air that enters, dispersing the filtered clean air throughout the home, and dilute any residual or newly created indoor pollutants. HRV and ERV also maintain balanced home temperatures and, in most circumstances, maintain necessary levels of indoor humidity as per relative humidity standards that should ideally be between 40% and 60%. The quality of the air that we breathe in and out is a major factor in our health, quality of life, and effective functioning.

While, global warming, increased use of synthetic chemicals, and population growth are exacerbating pollution levels, it is of existential importance to help create a future where we can breathe fresh air with near-zero pollutants. Zero-energy homes and buildings are a big part of the solution. So, as you can see reduced energy bills, greater comfort, and reduced carbon emissions are only some of the amazing benefits that zero-energy homes offer.

The benefit to Home Buyers

Did you know that your home can be the reason for a healthier life free of pollution-related conditions? Constructed with non-toxic finishes, materials, and surfaces, advanced fresh air systems, passive solar design principles this future of living solutions make most of the natural daylight, filling your home with warm and inviting sunshine. What more would one desire than having such comfort, the potential for a healthy life, at almost zero energy cost and yet proudly tell all friends and family about their great contribution to reducing the impact of climate change, that is the greatest global challenge and goal of the century.

Benefits to Builders

Zero Energy Homes are the homes of the future and announce the future of living. The alternatives are much more costly and strenuous. Building a home to code means that its energy performance, health, and comfort will be outdated the minute it’s complete. Even if there are options for solar panels, electric vehicle chargers, and storage batteries these add new revenue streams.

As an integral part of building a zero-energy home, builders can take pride in providing high-quality air, interior health, and comfort to their clients, thus marketing their brand as high-quality, high-performance builders.

Builder risk is reduced due to higher customer satisfaction, greater durability through effective moisture management, and fewer phone calls. Builders can market their reputation to bring in more clients and build their businesses.

As the market is heading towards zero-energy homes, builders who embark on this trend will be leaders in their field.

Zero buildings are a win all around.
