Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares export and import support documentation by being in constant contact with the shipping team / company;
  • Controls CMR when importing and exporting goods;
  • Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including route planning and scheduling;
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to various destinations;
  • Oversee the distribution process and manage the logistics team to achieve operational efficiency;

  • Coordinates work and activities with freight carriers for deliveries and arrival at the factory;
  • Accounts and maintains reports on transportation costs and delays such as Storage & Demurrage;
  • Coordinates and maintains reservation reports with containers in import and export;
  • Supports the procurement office regarding the specifics of works and activities that are related to procurement and logistics;
  • Coordinates all activities related to accommodation of materials within the factory;
  • Coordinates / analyzes the logistical possibilities in order to make the transfer / delivery at the most optimal time in the time / finance ratio;
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet specified standards;
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them;
  • Provides logistics solutions as a whole process (land, air, water);

Required qualifications:

  • University Degree;
  • Work experience in the field of logistics;
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, outlook;
  • Excellent communication and good time management skills;
  • Knowledge of land / water and air transport processes / methods;
  • Good knowledge of research methods, which help in preparing basic or analytical reports and in making decisions;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language;
  • Knowledge of Serbo-Croatian and / or German is a priority.
