On November 20, the center had the privilege of welcoming a group of international students through the BalVET EWEC program. This study visit left a lasting impression on all participants.

A major highlight of the visit was the introduction to the Cherry Communities initiative. Supported by Pllana Capital and built using InstaBuilt’s modular construction system, this venture is redefining housing and urban development on a global scale.

Through visual storytelling and in-depth explanations, students learned how these communities are designed to offer sustainable, affordable, and flexible living environments. Moreover, they discovered how modular construction can lead to faster implementation, reduced environmental impact, and better quality compared to traditional methods.

This part of the session sparked significant interest. Many students considered how this model could be adapted to address housing needs in their own countries.
